Glad you made it through the revisions in one piece, sweetie!
I actually don't mind them, myself. I know, even if I pull my hair out, by the end of them, the manuscript will be tighter and better for it, so i suck it up! ;)
I hope all the hard work is done and enjoy your rest!! x
Thanks for visiting, Xandra. Yes, I'm enjoying the rest, though was busy with the festival season round the corner - the reason I couldn't reply sooner.
I'm in the middle of revisions now. Ugh! Yes, it feels like pulling teeth at the minute. I'm sweating over the wording of every new sentence and trying to dig deeper into my characters' psyche but I know it will be worth it in the end.
Happy for you that you've made it to the end of yours :) I'll get there eventually!
Well done you! I am just revising the last 20 pages of my (finally finished) ms and I feel your pain. It has been a mammoth task. I make a list of bullet points then do the easiest ones first. Then I print the whole MS out and work back through, tweaking it. I now feel brain dead.
Yay! So glad you got the revisions done. I just finished mine. They can be tough, exhausting, and really make you think. But in the end, the story really benefits from the hard work.
Hope the editor loves what you've done with the story. :-)

Wow, you're thorough, Charlotte. Good luck with your sub and you too enjoy your leisure. I'm going to be catching up on my reading.
